Ummm, aren't you supposed to use beautiful people for advertising?

Every month there is a ad in the back of Maximum PC mag and IMO, they are using a FUGLY woman to advertise! I will be the first to say that making fun of someone's looks isn't the best thing to do, but I'm not in a nationally distributed magazine that is sent to millions of readers. I've scanned it in to show you what I mean:

FUGLY ad girl

Whadya think?

she's not fugly, just plain and maybe they are trying to break the mold of sterotypical advertising... Or just cheap 🙂

The purpose of advertising is to make you remember the product. Remember those buy.com commercials they had awhile back where all they would show is a blank screen for 30 seconds. Pretty stupid right? But you remember buy.com because the commercial was so ludicrous. I bet you will remember this ad because of the "fugly people"

Her head is too big for her body.
Also her blond hair drowns out her ugly misshaped head, thats why you are confused about whether or not she is hot. 🙂
