Have a kid - start paying for day care.

Buy a new house to get the kid in a better school district - and let your wife talk you into one $40k over budget.

i have a problem with buying too many at a time too...

i just got... new tires, brakes pads, brake lines, fluid, oh, and a new carbon fiber bike...

and the savings starts... crap, it should have started a while ago!
