Umm...My Recycle Bin Icon is now a folder??

Whats going on here? I restarted my computer and when the desktop came up, I had no Recycle Bin icon, its just a standard folder. It works just the same as it did before...I have no viruses or anything. Anyone know whats wrong?

There's three steps you need to do to fix this.

Fdisk
Format
Install Linux

well, i am using Win98 (blah). Is there any way i can restore the icon?

Right click on your desktop, choose "Properties", choose the "Effects" tab in the window that comes up, sroll the little window within the "Display Properties" window until you see and icons with "Recycle Bin (full)" and "Recycle Bin (empty)" underneath them. Single click on one, then click the box marked "Default Icon", this should restore it to the original setting. Do the same for the other recycle bin icon.

EDIT: If that doesn't work, select the "Change Icon" button and pick out the old recycle bin icons from the list of thumbnails that shows up.

install powertoys off ur windows cd and then goto rebuild icons, or download it off of download.com
