...Well, ...this seems like the right place to be.

HEY ALL! I'm a newbie but hopefully some of you know what the heck I'm doing wrong because to be upfront, I am an APPLE MAC user and just bought a new custom-built PC to do some audio production.

I've had this new PC for several months now. I've already REPLACED THE CMOS BATTERY 4 TIMES. I assume that is NOT normal correct? Everything will work flawlessly; ...then one random day I'll start to get this BIOS Error Message: CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR; DEFAULTS LOADED.

All HELL BREAKS LOSE afterwards. I start to get the following BIOS ERROR MESSAGES @ RANDOM everytime I turn the "ON" button!

KEYBOARD ERROR OR NO KEYBOARD PRESENT
CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR; DEFAULTS ARE LOADED

DISPLAY SWITCH SET INCORRECTLY
CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR; DEFAULTS ARE LOADED

SYSTEM IS UNSTABLE. BOOTING IN SAFE MODE

blah, blah.

Some very weird behavior is going on! WinXP boots we IT WANTS to boot! lol!
"My COMPUTER is pimping me!"

Can ANYONE help me!

Oh yeah, it's a K8N Neo4 Platinum MOBO.
