just take core classes, stuff you'll need no matter what you do later on

Just quit while you still have the chance. Looks like nothing interests you so why bother? You should go to college because you WANT to learn something, not for increased salary.

English 101, Math 101, Health 101, History 101, Political Science 101, Foreign Language 101, Star Trek 101, etc etc. Lots of classes to take that don't require picking a major.. If you know you are going for a B.S., then take Chemistry 101 or Biology 101. If not, then take Chemisty for Arts majors 101 or whatever. Try to take a couple of "artsy" type classes and a couple of "technical" type classes so you can get a feel for which way you would like to go. Then second semester take another couple more of whichever you like the most to make sure that you like it. Then declare your major at the end of the first year.

If you want to learn something, then you should get books pertaining to the subject. If you want to make something out of your life, then you go to college.
