EvilCoconut, What version(s) of the client are you running?
If 460 and above, have you checked your OGR stats? Have you disabled OGR?
If you have not disabled OGR, then your clients automatically swithced to OGR a week ago. If they are 460 and above, then you have been doing OGR and should look for your stats there. If they are below 460 {Don't shoot the messenger} then they have been doing invalid OGR blocks and will show up nowhere.

There was a bit of confusion as OGR came on line, most clients are set by default to look for OGR blocks first. Everyone was in an uproar about it last week (me included). Long story short, both Dnet and folks here at Anand have apologized, they sort of jumped the gun with OGR and poor FAQ handeling of the matter. I'm sure this sort of thing won't happen again.

You can search the threads, and check the FAQ (it has been updated) for a fix.

That's why I have some major jump in rc5 rank. You guys all switched to OGR automatically. :)

The version number is given when you start the client it also written to the log file. It looks like:
dnetc v2.8010-463-CTR-00071214 for Win32 (Windows 4.10).
If you can't find this, check the date of your client.
460 is 6/10/00 If it's earlier than this than OGR work will not be credited.

OGR == Optimal Golomb Ruler == Determining the optimal spacing for x-ray crystalography, antenna design,....

To disable it look in you dnetc.ini file for a line that looks like
project-priority=DES=0,CSC=0,OGR,RC5
and change it to
project-priority=DES=0,CSC=0,OGR=0,RC5

One addendum to what Joe just said. By default, that file won't exist. If it doesn't it should be under category (create if necessary):

Okay, this means you're successfully doing OGR (check your stats at http://stats.distributed.net/ogr-24/psummary.php3?id=302451), though not as well as you could be. If you want to continue OGR, or you have an Athlon, you'll probably want to upgrade your client for more speed. I understand the newer clients have better fetch/flush options too, but I haven't upgraded yet!

You probably should update your friends clients.

However, If you don't add those two lines, then they will be doing OGR. There is nothing wrong with doing OGR, I'm almost exclusively on it. I'm still doing a little Gamma Flux, and of course RC5. We need to kick the /. on both RC5 and OGR.
