Did you configure X already? If you didn't, the config file should be (or in Linux it is at least) /etc/X11/XF86Config

If it is installed and you configured it already, try typing 'startx'. I have never installed OpenBSD so I can't tell you if they config is done and stuff already.

I'm sure n0cmonkey has all sorts of great sites that you could reference :)

OpenBSD doesnt do your work for you. xf86cfg I think is what you want to run. It will help you create an /etc/X11/XF86Config-4(?). Its been a while since I used X ;)

Its the same in OpenBSD as it is in Linux.

OK what about tab completion? it's always been setup in bash before, I'm not sure if it's a bash thing or not?

thanks!

Tab completion is an sh thing, so it works in ksh and sh (which is basicallly ksh :p). esc completion works in csh, like it is supposed to (this is the default shell for rooot).
