Ok, my mic just broke... i need to know a high quality good headset to get, any suggestions? i use them for playing Counter-strike source, where sound quality is a must, and the mic, has to be high quality as well. I am not looking to spend more than $50.00, but if you could please leave me a link to a site where i could buy them that would be great, thanks for the help.

Sennheiser PC-150 for sure.

Agreed, not the best you can get for music but it gives amazing positioning in games. Lets me hear where the enemy is in counter-strike 🙂

Plantronics Audio .90s also as long as you keep the package, if you break it you get a free replacement. At least thats what my package said a while back.

Bad sound quality, uncomfortable and not as good positioning... I would much rather have the PC150s. (and I do)

Plantronics DSP - 500's.

is USB so plug in speakers to analog jacks and swap them when you want something else.

EXCELLENT bass if you listen to music, they have a huggeeeeely low freq response and I can feel it all.

EXCELLENT pinpointing accuracy. Not surround, but it sure as hell seems like it. I can play cs and people call me a hacker almost every day because i can pinpoint a footstep through a wall and trace them.

Very comfortableand feel great, huge cord as well so you dont have to worry about length.

awesome warranty. I've had mine replaced quite a few times due to me stepping on them, throwing them around, and just wear and tear.
