Just dl'd the Beta for star office, and it's a bin file.

My brain is either cramping, or I can't remember. What do you do to install it. I'm used to the Scripts and readme's telling me what to do, but I can't find anything with this.

Thank you in advance

.bin and .cue files are from CDRWin...do you have the .cue file (it points to where the .bin file is)? I think you might need that too.

Sorry I had to laugh at the bin/cue comments :)

Check the properties of the file, it may not be set to be executable.

I don't know off the top of my head if you can change that stuff through a window/desktop manager or not, but if you chmod 777 soffice.bin you should be able to run it after that.

edit: But first of all just try to execute the file first, then chmod it if need be. Sorry if you already know the chmod blah stuff, just being sure. But I always just executed the staroffice file.
