ULV Alienware m11x benchmarks?

Does anyone know where to find any benchmarks of the updated i5/i7 alienware m11x machine? I really would like to see the difference with these new chips + optimus before I buy my first gaming laptop.

Maybe someone at anand has it on their plate? 🙂

Working on it. It might be a month or two, TBH... it took two months to get the original M11x after it started shipping. Anyway, a request is in with Dell, and we're on the list.

Is there any chance you could test the laptop at higher resolutions using an external display? I am curious how well these mobile GPUs handle higher resolutions.

Sweet!

Anyone know the specs? I'm hoping for something closer to the Asus UL??Vt in battery life and weight. The 11x seemed to me more like a 14" notebook guts stuck in a 13.3" notebook chassis with an 11.6" screen at a 17" notebook price. :hmm:

I'd like an 11.6" chassis and weight to go with the screen size, plus leading battery life. I understand there's not much to be done with price. ^_^

It's really basically a 12" laptop in a 14" Chassis. Price wise is competitive with high performance small laptops I think. I remember years ago, 12" laptops were incredibly expensive compared to 15 and 17".
