For those of you who like to sing or looking for a great party game I came across this while googling SingStar for PC.

It's an open source Karaoke game (meaning FREE) and it's actually very good.
There are a few flavors of the game on source forge. One is UltraStar and the other is UltraStar Deluxe. I've download the Deluxe version and it's just great.

If you're really serious about the game you might think about buying an amp, sound mixer, and disco ball and going all out. I'll let you know how far I go. 😉


Edit: I also realized it makes a pretty good background music player for parties and social events.

My voice is terrible, I think people would pay me not to sing.

That said, I have forwarded the information on to a couple of friends that are big into karaoke.
