Had a pretty bad time with spiders and fleas this season. I'm trying to up my game when it comes to pest controller. I've heard good things about these devices and for around $30 it seems like a risk free investment especially considering the benefit if it works even remotely well.

Has anybody tried using a device like this? I'm thinking about at least putting one in my kitchen because it also has the door to my back yard where there's a lot of bushes and spiders and bugs.

They don't work. Any Ultrasonic sound or Magnetic field that would be powerful enough to keep bugs away from an entire room would be powerful enough to keep you away as well.

I'm skeptical.
The marketing babble on that product is scary. They mix up rodents and insects.

Ultrasonic sound frequencies may affect bats, dogs and other animals so it's a bad idea.

EM radiation that can disturb rodents would surely affect humans too and certainly not pass EM emission regulations. So it must be bs.

I tried one on one of my outbuildings. The squirrel in the attic and the rat in the box laughed at me. waste of money.
