I started using a sonic-type toothbrush like this a few weeks ago, and somehow my gums got really swollen. In the instructions there is a notice saying your gums might temporarily bleed in the first week or two, but it's apparently normal and goes away. But my swelling just kept getting worse so I stopped using it. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Not trying to say this is a bad product. I have to say despite the swelling my teeth were never cleaner. Alas, the frailty of the human gums.

EDIT: Btw, this is a great price. It doesn't get much cheaper than this.

I use the Braun...no problems with that unit. The heads on this brush look pretty harsh
