I'm really close to purchasing a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, and I was hoping to be able to use it with my home dual monitor setup through my KVM that supports two Dual-Link DVI connections.

The more I look though, I'm not seeing how I can get this working. A colleague pointed me in the direction of the Plugable UD-3900 USB 3.0 Universal Docking Station, however it only supports up to 2048x1152.

Are there any other options out there that I'm not aware of? Am I stuck only being able to multi-monitor RDP into it?

Unless I'm missing something, while that thinkpad usb3 dock has two dvi outputs, it doesn't seem to support dual-link dvi on either of them and won't support 2560x1600 resolutions.

I wouldn't try to mess with something like that...

You should just get a laptop with two DisplayPort/Thuinderbolt ports. The only one I can think of is rMBP, (if Windows is required, run bootcamp on it).

Alternatively you might be able to find a DP/TB laptop that's daisy-chain capable, but the monitors would have to support it as well, and most of them don't.
