Ultra66 Bios is not installed? Controller question.

I put in a Promise Ultra ATA66 controller card in the pro2a bios ver 2.2, win98SE setup. Loaded the drivers. put on the ZIP 100 (jumped it, master, channel 1), everything seems to be OK. Device manager sees it as a SCSI device.

I noticed on boot up I see a line "Ultra66 Bios is not installed".
I was wondering what's with that message? Does it have something to do with the controller card? Don't remember seeing it before...Did I do something wrong or need to load a Bios? I thought the controller card had it's own Bios.

Thanks, Mac

Does it have something to do with the controller card?

Yes.

Did I do something wrong or need to load a Bios?

Nope.

I thought the controller card had it's own Bios.

Again, yes, but it will only load the BIOS for Hard Disks, AFAIK. Everything looks normal.
