How's writing/typing the addy label different from cutting out and taping the mini label on the rebate form to the envelope? Clearly a scammer's behavior. In the FT/FS thread, if somebody does something like that, they'd be banned.

I'll be sure to not buy from Outpost/Fry's ever again. Thanks for the tips, Outpost/Fry's employee.

BTW, I just talked to an Outpost/Fry's rep on the phone regarding the packing slip/invoice thing. She told me for Outpost.com orders, the two are the same.

Outpost employee? LOL. A rebate is just like a mini-contract --everything is in plain print, however ridiculous the rules may be. The rebate form clearly states that unless ALL the requirements are met, including cutting out the label, the rebate can be denied. If people can't follow rules, they should not venture into the rebatel game in the first place. It's like taking the SAT, not using a #2 pencil or filling inside the bubble, and blaming SAT for a bad score.

I just got a confirmation that my rebate was approved and is on its way from onrebate.com! Just had to read the directions carefully and double/triple check to make sure you have everything. I also used confirmation for an extra buck for peace of mind.
