Haven't been paying much attention to monitors in the past two years, and while checking out Newegg, seen a lot of Ultra Wide monitors, and was wondering if anyone here has experience with them.
Do you run into problems where a movie or game is stretched because of the length? I think I've seen 2560x1440 in newer game options, but how about older games?
Does it feel like you have an extra 1/2 monitor on each side when you game? If you've played on a multiple monitor setup, does it feel a bit similar?
Just started researching Ultra Wide, so any thoughts on it versus widescreen are appreciated.
