Who actually make the Ultra power supplies?

Current models seem to be manufactured by Andyson, ShenZhen RuiSheng Yuan and ATNG. Andyson and ATNG are Taiwanese, ShenZhen is Chinese. I would consider buying an Ultra unit only if a particular model was well reviewed by a reliable review site.

They're all Chinese. All consumer grade, ATX PSUs are made in China now.

Just because the PSU's are made in China does not mean the companies are all Chinese?

True.

But China has made it very difficult/expensive for companies to import into China. So all of the Taiwanese companies have since opened up factories in China. Even the capacitor manufacturers like NCC, Matsushita, etc. aren't made in Japan anymore. Too expensive. They're made in China too.

Sadly... everything's made in China.

(Well.. not sad for the Chinese workers, I guess. Beats the rice paddies.)
