Although I was interested in using opterons or Athlons, a couple of people have expressed that there are severe compatability issues with getting motherboard drivers to work with an Athlon 64. There is a push to use only Intel processors in such case, but has anybody else had this issue? It would appear that Intel's 64-bit CPUs run just as well as Athlon's so I am not inclined to force the issue unless I am missing some glaring detail.
