Greetings Everyone:
I have a question on SATA 150 and maybe someone here can answer it. I was under the impression that a SATA 150 drive would have the default value for UDMA set to UDMA mode 6 and not UDMA mode 5 aka (Ultra ATA/100). I was told that the SATA 150 drive has an Intel limitation and it only can support ULTRA DMA MODE-5, so you can't get it to ULTRA DMA MODE-6. I am just looking for a verification on this, does anyone know the answer. I know looking at this information one would think that it was possible to get it to go to UDMA mode 6 for SATA 150, take a look at this link....hmmm.
