Ultra-Cool Cases _ Check em Out !

checked this site otu before...half the cases look like fisher price junk...actually, more than half..

that noblesse case looks interesting....and then the cool master ATC cases are sweet...and a couple decent budget cases.
 
I'll admit - I think most towers are hideously ugly.
I liked quite a few of these cases! The sturdier ones with hard lines.... like thr MinnionS and Noblesse.
I was going to joke about this being a link to the stupid "Doggie" and "Kitty" cases but then I scrolled down....
...and there they were....

Why don't people make more nice DESKTOP cases? Something you can stick under your monitor for easier access to your drives!
 
I've seen that site before. They have a good selection of unique cases - give you something to talk about at your next LAN party. Shame we don't have anything like that over here!
 
Wow. The 0302 model is eye-catching. Shame it's probably just painted that way and not really electroluminescent 🙂
 
Many of the cases look good on the outside....

The no-frills 1604 Full Tower is actually quite a nice case.

 
When I first went to this site a few months back it was expensive as he||...most of those cases were around $90. I like how the prices are cheaper now, and the look of 0302 is phat. I'm satisfied with my Fong Kai 320 though 😀
 
i don't understand the big deal. you can't exactly show your case off to anybody and it doesn't have any practical use so why all the hype? would you buy a gold ring for yourself if it would be invisible to everybody else on the planet?

or do you mean buy a new case for your computer at work?

I find is odd that this place is selling cases by other companies, but no where do they mention the name of the company, or their model number. Some of the aluminum cases are obviously CoolerMaster cases, if you look close enough you can actually read it on the case, yet they make no mention on the stat page nor do they use CoolerMaster's product #. They list Lian-Li's name, but I don't think those are their model #'s either.
 
People don't make "desktop" cases any more because cpu fans have become so noisy that you want to put the computer on the floor far from your ears.

Also, CRT monitors have become so big that nobody would put a 19" CRT on top of a desktop case.

If people use LCD's and fans were quiet, then desktop cases would come back in style (though the desktop case would eat up the space that the LCD is supposed to be saving you).
 
Yeah, used to be tacky plastic carp on there, now they have some nice stuff

really? I didn't notice, they all looked like plastic junk to me, cept for the antec cases.
 
Wow, those are the ugliest POS plastic cases I have ever seen. I cannot believe a company carrying carp like that stays in business. I will stay with my Chenming, thank you very much.

You know, unless you hide your computer under your desk (and I like mine ON the desk for easy access to drive bays...) you're staring at the thing whenever you use it.
I used to have a POS case with a huge crack along the front... ugliest thing. Yecch.... every time I looked at it I just thought, "I really don't like this ugly computer."
Some people don't care about aesthetics - they're the ones who buy ugly cars, ugly houses, date ugly people (just kidding!).
As an appliance in my living room that I see regularly, and visitors will also see, I don't want some hideous WART bulging out of my desk that I can announce: "Oh? That lump of discoloured plastic is my computer - it looks like crud... but it's really fast!"
