Price drops to $69.99 AR Free shipping if you haven't used your $10 off $100 discount yet.

The 550 watt PSU (ULtra LSP V2) has 30 amps on the 12v rail and is made by Andyson. (I have not been able to find any reviews on this particular model other than the ones at TD--> http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7850412&CatId=1079)

"Manual 130v & 220v Switching
Energy Efficiency 80%"
Claimed efficiency is good for a unit without active PFC or 80+ certification, but they probably aren't sending any out to review sites.

Likely better than the throwaway Ultra ULT-LSV450 a relative just got in a TD AMD FX4130 bundle (cheap case, cheap PSU, 70mm screaming heatsink). Label claimed max 33A on 12V, 24A @3.3, 15A @5V, in an unpainted lightweight 3 lb PSU with a single 80mm cooling fan.

Since that Ultra LSP V2 550 watt shows up quite often in these value bundles, my plan is to eventually obtain one and do a simple teardown.

Even though I am not capable of evaluating PSUs I figure having pictures of the internals will at least help others make some type of determination. (eg, what type of caps the PSU uses, etc.)
