Ultra 120 @ coolerguys

65 ducketts :Q

Coolerguys are usually not to bad with pricing, so I would imagine this will be the approx. price anywhere. With a fan this won't be cheap. But this bad boy does smoke.

when you can get an X2 3600+ for the same price, you know something is up!

65 big ones is kinda out of my league but this one tops the cooling charts tho.

it's nice to see it availabe somewhere. i've been checking the main sites (that i know of) for a while now and they didn't have the extreme version.

i haven't checked in a couple weeks - so who knows, maybe the egg, or hsf, or others are carrying it now.

Hahah since Ram prices had their day, maybe heatsink guys are like, why not have a field day with these high performance products.

I pray the prices will start dropping real soon, but I know that's just wishful thinking

OOS already.

Apparently there are some that don't mind the high price tag.

the list price is $59.95. Had you pre-ordered from Cooler Guys a day or two ago, their price was $54.95. It can still be pre-ordered for $54.95 at TankGuys. There's probably another $8 or $9 shipping fee on top of that.

The Thermalright IFX-14, now due in late May at the earliest, will apparently be going for $75 to $80. Add the requisite 12cm or 14cm fan, and shipping on top of that, and you're looking at $100 for what will arguably be the new world leader in air cooling.

Yup. I rather just not overclock or just spend that money on a faster cpu.

I ordered mine from NCIX for CAD$64.50, so about 10% cheaper? Or $56.89 on their US site.
The US price may be nice, but they want $17.64 to ship to me in the US. $17.64!

BestByte has them for $54 + shipping. They got about 50 of them in yesterday, and have only 16 left. (Picture is of U120; they assured me they are selling the U120X.)

They also have the HR-05 for $16.

Thx Cyburzaki. Managed to order one before BestByte runs out too. I have a feeling the Ultra 120 Extreme will be in high demand due to Intel's price cuts.

I just called BestByte and the are about to raise the price to about $64.99 or somewhere around there. Get on this.

Edit: just got mine for $63 and some change shipped priority mail from Houston to LA, not too bad for a new cooler.

I see they went easy on us, and raised the price to only $62.

Meanwhile, I just got a tracking number from BB. Great service this time around. On the down side, I got carried away wandering up and down their aisles this morning, and $37 worth of other stuff, including a $16 HR-05, seemed to mysteriously fly into my cart on top of the U120X. I guess the fact that the shipping practically stayed the same with each addition--something like $8.54 for UPS Ground--goaded me on in this shopping spree.

Sigh, I remember my top of the line Thermalright SLK-947U for like 30 bucks. :(
