Hey guys, didnt see any threads on this, and wanted to try and get one going. Me and my friends play almost every night. Anyone from Chicago area want to try and get a scrim going downtown or something? Whatever, post your thoughts on the sport, and what you think of it and stuff.

too much running for me.

i can throw a frisbee like nobody's business, but im woefully out of shape.

yeah, that was my problem, but just playing for a week got me into very good shape, but we do have a few rather large people that play that somehow manage to sprint down some long ass throws

there are about 15 soccer fields right across the street from me. if some guys were out playing i might give it a go.

my roomate and frisbee throwing buddy in college went to play with a group of guys. he said they were all soccer players and he ran for an hour and touched the frisbee twice.
in other words, they were being complete dicks to him for being new, so i never went and he never went back.
and he can throw and catch, so its not as if he sucks at frisbee. i could understand if that were the case.

I'm not in Cicago but I love Ultimate Frisbee. I have something like 3 frisbees in the back of my car, along with 5 different hackey sacks. So much fun

I played that game last summer and the summer before every single Wednesday with a big group of people (sometimes 20+) at a huge open field nearby.

GREAT game.... one of my favorite exercices!!!!

How do you play?

I've heard the name a couple time before but never joined in on a game

just imagine football with a frisbee, and you cant run, only passing. It involves a lot of running, and is always a good time
