Would you ever attend one? I'm considering an offer from a friend to check it out in Vegas at the end of September. If you've been to one, what's it like? I've never seen the videos or anything.

Are you going to see Shamrock?

If you like things like boxing then go.

I saw the last one on PPV. You should see the very first UFC events, no fighter categories. 400lb dude vs a 180lb guy. Light guy broke his wrist punching big guy in the gut.

Uhmm, UFC rocks the fro. If you're not into the scene it won't be as entertaining. Lots of times the fights go to the ground and most people don't really get whats going on down there.

I've never attended a UFC event live (seen a few on TV), but I imagine being farther away would make your ability to tell whats going on even worse.

Recently, even thought the excitement of actually attending sporting events like this is fun, it's almost always better to just watch on TV: more economical, more comfortable and you see the fights better (not to mention instant replay!).

Go if you want, though :) lol Events are always fun if you've got the right attitude.

I'll probably go to UFC 40 with Shamrock\Ortiz just to say I was there. SOME of Prides fights are better but there are a lot of "tomato can" fights that just boost a popular guys' record.
