A lot of MMA fanboys are overlooking the mental training SEALS have acquired. SEALS are trained to fight despite injuries and other physical handicaps that would likely hamper an MMA fighter.
For example lets say there's a street fight between a SEAL and a MMA fighter and for the sake of this argument lets say that both fighters have a broken leg. Who would win the fight? It's more than likely going to be the guy who's been taught to mentally withstand physical pain or other similar handicaps.
Also consider that SEALS train to fight in situations where they often have some form of disadvantage. (stronger and better armed enemies, foreign territory, lesser numbers against a larger force, etc..) Also consider the cost and time the military has to put into each SEAL that is trained, do you really think they would put all that time and energy into training soldiers who could be easily whipped by an MMA fighter?
And all of this does'nt mean that an MMA fighter can't own a SEAL in a fight, but realistically it's not as if extra hours of hand to hand combat automatically means a SEAL can be easily defeated.

Well, they do spend $10k to ship a spare bolt. Determination shmeterdination. Like a MMA guy once he gets punched in the nose (which btw decent MMA fighter won't let happen) going to instantly say
"Oh I don't wanna live, I'll just forget about my moves that I've repeated a million times and go into fetal position just let the SEAL kill me. Or worse yet, he will use dark magic on me."
While you ponder this, here's some entertainment:
