The ultimate fighter

The setup is a street fight, Navy Seal's military training is mostly useless.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about?

no shit. SEAL is trained to fight as if it's his life or his opponent's. SEAL wins easily with a quick blow to the brain stem.

Stupid argument, anyway; because Bruce Lee is the real winner. :p

No.

People actually bleed in UFC and bones actually get broken.

as if this doesn't happen in wrasslin.

I'm sure a SEAL would cry like a baby if they encountered blood/broken bones in a fight?

awaiting your SEALS and/or MMA real-life experience and training as a legit counterargument.

A lot of MMA fanboys are overlooking the mental training SEALS have acquired. SEALS are trained to fight despite injuries and other physical handicaps that would likely hamper an MMA fighter.

For example lets say there's a street fight between a SEAL and a MMA fighter and for the sake of this argument lets say that both fighters have a broken leg. Who would win the fight? It's more than likely going to be the guy who's been taught to mentally withstand physical pain or other similar handicaps.

Also consider that SEALS train to fight in situations where they often have some form of disadvantage. (stronger and better armed enemies, foreign territory, lesser numbers against a larger force, etc..) Also consider the cost and time the military has to put into each SEAL that is trained, do you really think they would put all that time and energy into training soldiers who could be easily whipped by an MMA fighter?

And all of this does'nt mean that an MMA fighter can't own a SEAL in a fight, but realistically it's not as if extra hours of hand to hand combat automatically means a SEAL can be easily defeated.

1. MMA is a combat sport.
2. Navy SEAL's are trained to survive life and death fights.

My money is on the Navy SEAL's

no, it's the "ZOMG SEALS ARE THE BEST!!!!!111oneone" counter argument.

some people talk as if special forces guys are gods among mortals, which is completely wrong. they're men. they might be incredibly fit, strong, and psychologically tough men, but they are men nonetheless.

i'm 5' 11" and 150. i'd get my ass handed to me by either an MMA fighter or a SEAL

Well, they do spend $10k to ship a spare bolt. Determination shmeterdination. Like a MMA guy once he gets punched in the nose (which btw decent MMA fighter won't let happen) going to instantly say

"Oh I don't wanna live, I'll just forget about my moves that I've repeated a million times and go into fetal position just let the SEAL kill me. Or worse yet, he will use dark magic on me."

Just listening to how most of the people talk on this forum leaves me understanding that hardly anyone on here knows JACK about what the F they are talking about. A veteran elite Navy SEAL would destroy an MMA fighter in a life or death match. Please go back and read my posts for the last two days. I have given you information that is factual and some of the links or organizations i have told you to look up will help you understand the superiority of the type of fighting i am referring to. Look up Tim Larkin and what he teaches to SPECOPS soldiers at SCARS fighting institute(Phoenix,AZ) and you will see and read about these no BS killing techniques that discount any form of MMA. This training is for life or death, NOT scoring points or getting a "knockout". Take this fighting method and morph it with an individual in better condition than a pro athlete and you have perhaps the fiercest human killing machine on the planet. Some of these SPECOPS guys NEVER adjust back into civilian life.... I am done trying to help you Spike TV blockheads watching this overhyped UFC BS! END OF STORY and the last i will comment on this subject!

LOL Raduque's been living on Mars, UFC puts 2 ppl to fight in a locked cage with teeths sometimes flying out.

WWE is kid/teen fake/real wrestling show

If the fighting area is small and open MMA guy would have the upper hand cause they're all train to fight that way everyday

But if the fighting area is big and complex, the Seal would win cause they're train for different types of scenarios

and wich as said that in a street fight a seal will win. NOT that it would be a straight up fair fight.

BUT IN a MMA fight in a cage a MMA fighter has a damn good chance.

not only did he get his ass handed to him. he got it handed to him by a guy who is known as a submission guy and not a stand up fighter.

I can't believe there was ever a discussion about this. It's obvious that the SEAL would kick ass and take names.

Wow this conversation died off prematurely! I must know, who would win in a street fight between a navy seal and an MMA fighter? I NEED ANSWERS!!!
