Ok, so I am about a week behind, but I watched episode 7 of season 10 last night (Scott Junk v Matt Mitrione) and it was another crap fight. It seems like this whole season has been dominated by garbage fights. Is it just me or is this the worst season yet?

The only way to redeem it for me would be if they get Kimbo back in, coach hm up a bit, and then he just rocks someone with a knockout shot.

well you are partly right. this is a bad series for TUF. seem most of the fighters suck. i have seen Roy fight a few time sand he is rather good. he just fought enough to win and not get hurt. while smart it was a boreing fight.

I like Kimbo and wish him the best of luck. BUT he sucks as a MMA fighter.

The big boys just aren't as exciting because they get gassed so easily. If a fight goes beyond the first round you can pretty much guarantee it is going to the cards.

The next episode looks pretty good though with Rampage going on a rampage.

I haven't been impressed.

And I'm trying to figure out why Dana picked Rampage as a coach. All he does is mope around and try to appear tough for the camera.

After watching the first two episodes I quit. I usually just tune in and watch sections of the marathons.

In the time that I've watched it, it's pretty obvious that none of these guys (except maybe for a IN SHAPE Big Country, but that will never happen) would have a shot at beating the current top five heavyweights.

thats as good fo a shape as he gets. even looking as he does i think he can be in the top 5 of the UFC.

They're getting gassed quickly because the coaches have them training hard on top of fighting. Normally an MMA match would be train 8 weeks, cut, weigh in, rest, then fight. TUF is more just train, fight, cut, train, fight, etc. on top of the bigger guys using up energy a lot faster.

Yeah, this season is pretty lackluster. That Junk/Mitrione fight had to be one of the most pathetic fights I've ever seen.

The lack of cardio is still unacceptable. And if some do not have to cut to make weight, that should be an advantage, not a problem.

Some think they picked a bunch of cans to make Kimbo look good. But, then Rashad went and ruined it by making great match-ups. I think he would have KO'd Mit or Junk, for certain. So regardless, it is a damned shame Kimbo had to fight Roy immediately, he might have provided some entertaining fights.

It's like watching tim sylvia fight lyoto machida with both having just run a marathon most fights. One guy plods, the other avoids, and both are tired.
