HAHA no.... thats not at all what will happen....
First off the car wont brake for sh!t for about a minute and then it will catch on fire. I've had painted rotors on my talon (800 degree thermal paint mind you) and the passanger side smouldered off when deceleration on an off ramp.

I have never done it, I use the brake lathe to remove the paint, but I have witnessed it and it did not hurt anything. The paint was gone after a few minutes and the smell was gone after a while.Originally posted by: grrl

I'd think the paint would gum up a bit either on the pads or the rotors.
