Awesome! Another game I can play on my laptop while on business trips 🙂

BTW [no brainer]: You will need DOSbox to run the downloaded file
 
Ah, this brings back memories. Ultima series had such great games.

Ultima Online being my favorite, followed by Serpent's Isle, Black Gate and Underworld.

I can't either, I really don't understand dosbox the directions suck!
I have the game mounted but I keep getting its a zip file and needs to be extracted but I have already done that. Bah what a disappointment.

Yeah that's exactly what I got.
 
Double click on Ultima.exe. It will extract to 100+ files. Then run ultima.com via DosBox. You have to unzip it twice, basically.
 
I remember playing Ultima 3 on the Apple IIe. It took me months to finish it because I had no manual and no interent, so I learned everything by trial and error.
