Who here has read the series? Ive just started on the first book and I cant stop laughing. UHHGG is awsome
 
It's a great series, but a bit unsettling to read as it gets worse from book to book. By the time you get to Mostly Harmless it's like you're not even reading the same author as wrote HHGTTG. But I'm still looking forward to "The Salmon of Doubt", hopefully it'll be better than The Silmarillion in the cosmic battle of posthumous novels.

BTW, anyone here besides me with a HHGTTG nickname?
 
heh, im reading the series currently. I had previously read the hitch hikers guide the the galaxy twice and the restraunt at the end of the universe once, but I got the big 6 book series book and I'm reading that now, I'm into the third book, its so damn funny 🙂
 
Best series... ever... well maybe not... but still AWSOME! 😀

I envy you. I want to go back and read them for the first time again!
