In a presentencing letter to the judge Ross Ulbricht seemingly admits guilt.

He was found guilty so there is little point to claiming innocence at sentencing. He's hoping by admitting his mistake he gets a few years off his sentence. Best of luck to him but trafficking drugs isn't a smart thing to do.
