UK people: where do you shop for digital cameras?

I'm from Canada but living in England right now and in the market for a new camera but I'm not really sure where to look. I gather I'll never get anywhere near as good a price as Americans can get at newegg 🙁

So I've done some searching around and come up with some decent prices from places like Jessops and PCWorld but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any e-tailers or store chains (or even individual places close to central London) where you like to buy cameras and camera related accessories.

Thanks 🙂

Wow. Thanks guys, that's a terrific start for me 😀

Incidentally, the first few cameras I've found on the dealtime site quoted higher low-prices than I found on ebuyer 😛

Lonyo, how is ebuyer's reputation when it comes to customer service and product quality and stuff?

Edit: I'm really liking the dealtime site

I've had a router which died on me after a while, sent it back, got refund fairly quickly.
Sent back a stick of RAM when that died, got a refund fairly swiftly.
Haven't had any issues with them at all. Products have all arrived as they should, as described etc, prices are good, order tracking is good, RMA requests are easy and smooth.

Also taking into account shipping prices for wherever you order from.
I find Ebuyer are usually one of the cheapest for lots of things, but http://www.dabs.com , http://www.overclockers.co.uk etc can be quite good too.

Indeed.

Dabs and overclockers are great places to get stuff from imo.

Back to eBuyer. I bought a WD drive from them. It later died on me and the 'serial' didn't match. I got in contact with WD and it turns out the WD drive from eBuyer was not suppose to be for 'the uk market' but WD honoured the warrenty anyway

I've had a few friends get stuff off ebuyer with no problems though.

But me personally I'll stay away from HD's from ebuyer. Dabs has the best prices for HD's imo and I've had faultless service for serveral £k's worth of stuff over the pat 6yrs.
