This may not mean much to most of you, but well-known and beloved TV personality Sean Lock has passed away due to cancer, aged 58.
I don't mean "TV personality" as "obnoxiously loud TV idiot" but rather as an intelligent man, actor, stand up comedian who worked his whole life in TV roles, mostly as "panelist", a common TV role on this side of the pond, and was not pretentious, annoying or arrogant. He was a common face to most British subjects.
