Heard this guy live at a local church yesterday. Fantastic player and an equally nice guy (reception afterwards allowed for a brief conversation with him). The CD is good too (he played some of the stuff at the concert and we bought a copy on the spot).
 
I'd like to get myself a set, if they weren't so damn expensive. I've been playing Highland pipes for over 12 years.
 
You can get practice pipes for a LOT cheaper. I have a set of practice highland pipes that are analagous and it's pretty good for learning how to manage the windbag without all of the VOLUME.

It's also useful to get a practice chanter so that you can work fingerings without having to worry about the bellows and bag.
