hey- computer going crazy on me. I moved my desktop from my room to my living room just to make networking easier, but once i plugged it in and started it up everything went nuts. All the wires are connected, etc. I literally moved it 50 ft, no bumps or drops along the way. It starts booting, then i see BIOS SETTING UTILITY " serial_ch0 master: no device" and "serial_ch1 master: no device" pop up for a few secs, where im given the option to tab to user window, which after opening has no function. If ignored, I'm sent to this new screen "fastrak build etc etc" followed by blinking No Array Defined..., I can ctrl+f to fastbuild utility, which lets me define arrays. If i ignore that, i'm taken finally to a American Megatrends logo, and NO Hard Disk Drive Detected!, and the computer is totally dead past that. I tried defining an array, just with one of my drives that has the OS on it, it allows for a short boot but it restarts itself halfway through the windows xp boot screen. So, undid that, and I'm back at square one.
If anyone has any ideas that might possibly save my desktop without formatting all my drives i'd be totally indebted. Using: K8v SE deluxe w/ a64 3000+, 1.5 gb corsair xms ram, 2x 74gb raptors not raided, and radeon 128mb 9800 pro, and 400w psu.
