Oh yeah and the reason I am trying to find out is because I am trying to register another domain with them.

Perhaps it is good that I don't remember because it means I haven't had any trouble with this company and that is why I am registering my new domain with them... If I can figure out who they are!

It's telnap.

Your domain resolves to 70.84.28.36. A reverse lookup on that IP brings us back to bin.servicehost.us. A simple google search for pages containing that hostname takes you to a telnap stats page.

Makes me think of an amateur porn site run by a spammer:

1) begins with an 'X' (red flag in my mind)
2) contains the word 'preorder' (huge red flag... with someone jumping up and down... screaming no... in my mind)

Alright so it is indeed Telnap.

Does Telnap have a good rep around here? I'm thinking of using them for my new business..

Doug,

I think you're thinking of your DOMAIN REGISTRAR which is NameCheap.com

Domain registrar and web hosting are two totally different things :)

If your domain is already registered (you already paid for it) then I would recommend upgrading to a RESELLERS ACCOUNT.

This gives you the flexibility to host as many domains you want. You do not have to "resell" anything. You can host 1 or 50 domains, how you use your resources is totally up to you. You get a WHM (web hosting manager) which lets you assign packages for each domain. Then you login to "create" each account.

This way you can have ONE web hosting account to host 10, 20 or 50 domains.

Hope that helps.
