uhhh how do you remount keys like the enter key, spacebar on keyboard

I have the metal clipped into the key and once i push the key in, and i start pressing the key ilike i do normally, i can hear the metal, and if i push hard enough the metal gets loose

They are not hard to remove but a pain in the ass to connect them back to metal bracket.

My friends letter e and popped off her laptop. It took some thinking to figure out how it connected back together. I think it was in 3 different pieces.

oh no its not liike an e, the metal brackets are for longer keys so the entire thing stays level when you push it down to the side of the center. one side going down first would be w bit odd 😉 but yes, a freakin pain, so i never take those off. u just gotta be very careful when putting em back on. maybe u didn't put i tback in the right place? should be little prongs or a hook..

You put the metal U bracket back in its place, and extend it all the way down until it hits the back of the key...it should be hinged on the backside of the key (like the bottom facing side). When you swing it down the 2 hook sides should be facing as far down as they can...drag the key backwards over where it should be, all the while having the 2 hook parts on the U arm grab their corresponding places on the keyboard. Once they are in their place you just push the key down until it snaps in place.

Just had to replace my keyboard on my dell 2 days ago...spilled milk all over the damn thing

Um yeah, I messed up my keyboard because I couldn't figure out how to get the spacebar back on after I popped it out. Guess I know now 🙁.

I broke the enter key off my keyboard by accidentally punching it. I think I just threw the metal piece away and put the key back on and there wasn't a noticeable difference.

Keyboards are cheap though, you can get a decent logitech keyboard for $10-15 on ebay.
