Uhh... why can't I enable sharing?

Just two PCs, crossover cable, Win98 SE on both. Went into Control Panel--->Network and clicked on file and printer sharing, but then in My Computer, when I right-click my hard drives, Sharing is not listed as an option. What gives? Am I forgetting something really stupid?

you must enable the sharing options first..

Go to Start>Help> Search for file sharing

The result: you have to enable the file and printer sharing. Go to Control Panel > Network. under the first tab there is file and sharing button.. clikck there and make sure u enable both check boxes.

is this problem with both PCs or just one.

Please give some more info on how you set up the network🙂
