Uhh, motherboard switch question

I just found out my motherboard is only capable of running PCI-e at 8x....and I have a GTX 260, and yeah, I am fairly confident it is being a huge bottleneck.

Will I need to re-install Vista when switching motherboards, or can i do some nice driver manuvers?

Alright, we will see how it goes when I get a mobo >_<

I am starting to think switching from my P965 to this 650i I found in my closet was a bad idea, maybe this is why it was in there!

My 650i mobo has been serving me well for over 2 years...
