Uhh dammit [Girl-Thread] [Updated: Uhhh YES!!!]

I just met this really, really beautiful girl last week. We talk when we meet and there is definitely chemistry between us.
She invited me to a party she is having next week and I ask her to go out with me tonight.
Now I have friends from out of town here (I thought they were only in town yesterday) and I'm going to dinner with them tonight => so I had to call her to cancel our date.
DAMMIT!
She was very firendly about it but still ... DAMMIT!
I hope she understands that there wasn't much I could do.

UPDATE:
When I called her yesterday and told her I would not be able to make yesterdays date, we agreed to go out next weekend (although I think she is throwing a party next weekend to which she invited me).

Should I call her now and tell her I had such a bad conscience last night for not going out with her and if I can make up for it by taking her out tonight?

We had a great date yesterday. I took her out for dinner, then we went to see a movie. We both had a great time and enjoyed each others company. I told her that I had [free] tickets for another movie on Wednesday and if she wanted to come along. Should I call her today or wait till I see her tomorrow anyway?

Well, it would probably have bored her and you don't want to bore a girl on the first date
I would not have been able to lavish all my attention on her so I thought it better to go out with her another time.
I just hope she has no harsh feelings about it and that the chemistry did not go nuclear ...

Well, I will see her on Tuesday.
I called her today, got her answering machine and left a message that I felt really, really bad, I had a bad consciense the whole evening, and that I would try to make up for it (uh, my wallet hurts already ) ...
I wont call her again till tuesday since I don't want to impose on her too much.
