Uhh...can an Enlight 300W (one that comes with the 7237 case) handle this?

Can it handle this system:

-1.2ghz tbird
-Epox 8K7A
-3 80mm medium rpm (~2900) fans
-256MB Crucial PC2100
-Leadtek GeForce2 Pro 32MB
-Best Data Theatrix (an early 5.1 card); will be upgraded to a Game Theatre XP or Acoustic Edge...or something better
-NIC card (i forgot what kind...it's 10/100)
-12X A-Open DVD
-floppy
-IBM 60GXP 40GB (7200rpm)
-1 usb device- Saitek X36 Joystick

That 1.2 will get OCed to 1.4

Anyway, will this system run on a 300W? (i really hope it will...b/c i dont really have enuf for a new PS anytime soon)

You never know before you actually try it. No one has the exact setup like yours. I am using the Enlight 300W on TBird 1.2@1350, DVD, 7200RPM drive. Not a problem.

His was fairly similar, component-wise...

But, it's nice to know that my 300W will probably keep the juice flowing 🙂

If not...im getting a Duron soon to tie me over until my 1.2 gets here...nice to have a spare CPU around 🙂

i'm sure it can handle all that, my system is very similar to yours and i have a burner as well. so i wouldn't worry about not having enough power.

Just wondering, but if you have enough to buy a "spare" Duron, couldn't you instead have used that on a power supply?
