Glen Rice wore ankle braces forever ... yeah yeah, he was slow and immobile later on in his career, but that wasn't due to the braces. He was plenty mobile when he was an allstar.

I wear the same ankle braces, and they don't limit mobility, just lateral flexing of the ankle.
