Uh Oh!

Rubycon

Madame President
Throttling

System is actually much faster in stressing benchmarks at 4.06GHz because of this. Throttling was suspected (stability is perfect both ways).

I guess this means the factory cooler just doesn't cut it.

If the alarm trip is set to 60C it squawks at us when playing COD2 too.

What's a good HSF for this beast? The Tuniq will fit and this chip is actually better than theirs as they could not even boot at 4.33GHz with the factory cooler!

I like the Thermaltake Big Typhoon myself but only after replacing the slow 120 on it with a high rpm on. I have it on my system and I never break 40c full load

Won't the slow 120 work better considering the quietness? Smaller fast fans sound like vacuum cleaners! Yuck! 40C load is COOL though.

Well the slow one is like 16db but u loose some in overall cooling but it still kicks butt! I just like mine cool! cool! cool! not gonna risk anything just cause I can hear some air moving. If I am playing game, listining to music or watching movie I dont notice the extra noise but the 4 12" blue cathodes with 2 120mm blue and 80mm blue led is a different story! its BRIGHT!!!!

I was told to ask for this product.

Even if it doesn't work, it looks neat. 🙂

I've seen those or something that looks like those installed on some Dell desktops. They seem to work quite well and they are very quiet.
