So I booted up my comp today and right after the windows screen loaded, the monitor went into standby. This usually happens when the resolution is to high for the monitor, but that cant be the problem since it has been working fine for months. Another problem it could be (that I really hope is not) is that my gainward GS 6800 GT took a dump. Im getting my 2005fp tommorow so I will be able to make sure where the problem is at. Ahh I really hope its not my graphics card, do you guys think it is?

Hard to tell from what you described.

But the exact same thing happened to me awhile back and the cause was a shot power supply.

I have the stock power supply that I got with my Sonata. Its pretty good quality so I dont think thats the case.

i would say the tru power 380 in that case is quite possibly maybe a bit weak for the gainward......tho yeah i would also of thought that it would be sufficient
