Ok, I have noticed that on my desktop and in DVD's if I look closely there are "blocks" of color, especially around places where it transistions color. Is this a monitor or video card problem? I asked someone else and he said it's low bit depth. I have a radeon 9700 pro and Cornea Mp503 LCD on Winxp.

Is your display set for 32-bit color? If not, give that a try.

Hmm, and since I don't know the Cornea models, let me ask if 1) it is using an analog connection to the video card, and 2) if so, does the monitor have an auto-adjust feature like my Planar (found in the on-screen menu). If you've already been down that road then I'm stepping aside for other suggestions

Yep, its got analog connections, doing the auto adjust does nothing. You think it's a monitor problem?

I'm not sure. You'd better send the Radeon 9700 Pro to me for some testing... yeah... ;)

(now where did I put my Mechwarrior4 Vengeance CD's...? :D)

Yeah, I'm planning on exchanging the 9700 pro, the clock speeds are lower than normal, and a lot of stuff could be wrong with it...
