This isn't American Censorship. There is no law for this. This is ESPN covering it's ass.

My alumnus used to be Miami University Redskins. They changed to the "Redhawks" in 1998 because the tribes were calling it offensive. They can lick em.

Quite like the whole McNabb/Limbaugh thing. However, ESPN said he could use it. The tournament officials made him take it off.

I'm sure butch, dike and a few others were probably safe to use. I don't see why they didn't bring in a PC police to judge each word before it was allowed to be played.
