I lost network neighborhood. Now I can't browse the network. How can I get it back. Thanks.

Check your network stack (Start/Settings/Control Panel/Network). If you're running on a LAN, it should probably look something like:

Client for Microsoft Networks
Dial-Up Adapter
Intel Pro/100+ Management Adapter
TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter
TCP/IP -> Intel Pro/100+ Management Adapter

Probably you've lost everything, & you'll need to re-install it.

Viper GTS seems to have nailed it. When ypu have no protocols or adapters installed, the Network Neighborhhood disappears.
