turns out the guy used his camera and not my 40D.. from the front the 40D and the 5D look exactly the same. I thought he used mine... nope its not on mine.

Can I contact the photo og to send me the file???

edit:

I was at a family wedding..
I took a family portrait of my mom, dad, brother and sister in law, and then realized i wasnt in teh picture, so since everybody was gone, i had him take it.

turns out he took it on his DSLR, i thought it was on mine.

I need that file..

Try to be nice to him if you get his contact info. But be aware that he is under obligations to protect his contract and agreements that he and the B&G negotiated for. It may work in your favor, it may not.

Also, for future reference learn how to spot cameras. The viewfinder/prism hump on the 5D is really distinct in shape. It matches the 1D series as far as that goes. Also, it doesn't have a pop up flash there.
And the 5D is a bit bigger.

Well they both had black lenses from the front, and both had add on flashes.. the only thing he was shooting with a 24-70 and I had a 28-135.. from the front if you arent paying attention and trying to get it done fast, you'd thing its your camera and not his..

So he's a professional photographer and you're expecting him to give you the photos for nothing? Sorry, it doesn't work that way.

NO I had asked him to take a picture of us with my camera, i thought he did.. but it ended up on his camera, not mine.

I'd gladly pay him for that shot.. thats not a problem..

1. Post about it on Anandtech.
2. Call photographer.
3. Mention the switched camera.
4. Ask for a copy of pic. He will tell you how much.
