Uh oh, does anyone know much about narrow snowboard bindings?

I was just out looking for boots when i tried to fit the boots into my oldschool Belligerent bindings. The rear of the binding was too narrow! The front is fine, but the boots just don't quite fit in there.

Do you guys know of any brands that might be extra narrow in this sense? Or should i just buy boots and sand off some of the rubber from the sole? If anything i'd sand off a little less than a centimeter on both sides combined. So it's about 2/5ths of a centimeter on both sides.

You should get some of those quick release ones that only connect on the bottom with metal. ALthough you would probably have to get new boots.

Buying new bindings would cost extra $$, plus i still have to buy boots

snap on bindings means he would have to buy boot and bindings together since most of them are not compatible with each other... my vans are a bit snug into my ride bindings too... have you tried other boots?... sport chalet still has a 30% sale... and sportmart marked down most of their snowboarding equipment. usually... cheapest boots wont fit into most bindings... i looked at these no-name $50 boots and the strap just wouldn't go on... i didn't try all the bindings but it was just too bulky.

Actually i found out the better brands like Burton and Northwave fit my bindings. The soles on those shoes are practically like normal shoes.

Burton and Northwave are very good brands... out of those two I would pick Northwave.
