uh oh car makes weird noise coming out of 1st gear, left front wheel area

I think the noise is coming from the area of the left front wheel. Any ideas? thx

It's a stow-away! Or maybe your wheel bearings are shot? Only in 1st gear you hear that noise? Hmm....

only coming out of first gear from a stop.

sounds a little like grinding. maybe it's the bearings. Are they expensive?
